In the E-Commerce Capstone Project, students will work on a
detailed digital transformation exercise of an existing retailer.
Students will be expected to weave together the disparate
strands of their learning into a workable strategy to establish
ecommerce operations for the existing business or a new
industry. The project will focus on digitization of supply and
value chains and all related business functions.
Project 2
Marketing in
Digital World
In the Marketing Capstone Project, students will work on an
end-to-end digital marketing strategy for an existing market
participant or a new entrant into a market. Students will be
expected to weave together the disparate strands of their
learning into an effective and coherent omnichannel market
and distribution strategy. The project will focus on marketing
analytics, tracking and lean and agile methodologies.
Project 3
Innovation
Management
In the Innovation Management Capstone Project, students will
work on executing an innovation project in an existing
organizational setup. Students will design and implement a
specific innovation project as per the company’s strategy. The
project will focus on the design and process elements of
innovation management and its effectiveness in real-world
setups.
Project 4
New Venture
in Capital
In the New Ventures Capstone Project, students will work on a
new business plan for a start-up idea that can be pitched to
both internal and external investors, including venture
capitalists, for financing. Students will be expected to build a
robust business model based on their learnings at Atria. The
focus of the project will be on the readiness of the model and
pitch for investment and the quality of communication.

Automation &
Computability
In the Automation and Computability Capstone Project,
students will work on specific digital transformation efforts to
assess which business problems may and may not be
automated and computable. They will use different theoretical
tools and computer science logic to define computable and
decidable problems, amenable to digital transformation. Focus
will be on applicability of digital transformation to a company’s
business.
Project 2
Advanced
Data Science
In the Advanced Data Science Capstone Project, students will
work on a specific business problem using data science problem
solving techniques. Students must be able to use
interdisciplinary tools and techniques in their efforts and find a
workable business solution. The focus will be on applicability of
advanced data science techniques to specific real-world
business problems and the right digital tools companies can
use in their efforts.
Project 3
Networked Markets
In the Networked Markets Capstone Project, students will work
on a detailed digital transformation effort for an organization
operating in a networked market industry. They will bring their
experience of networks, design and algorithms to establish the
most effective digital strategy for the company. Focus will be
on establishing competitive advantages and network efficiency
in the industry the company operates in.

Business
Intelligence Systems
In the Business Intelligence Systems Capstone Project, students
will work on building a new management information system
for a company undergoing digital transformation. They will
bring their interdisciplinary knowledge and experience to build
a revised intelligence system based on the company’s
operations and functions. Focus will be on using best practices
and design principles for process improvements.

Cybersecurity
In the Cybersecurity Capstone Project, students will work on
building specific technology solutions to a security concern
within a company’s digital transformation efforts. Students will
address the issue keeping in mind the company’s business
model, possible security threats, and related matters. Focus will
be on robustness of digital transformation efforts given
security challenges and ease and efficiency of solution.
Project 2
Cloud Computing
In the Cloud Computing Capstone Project, students will work
on scaling and managing business functions and operations as
part of a digital transformation effort. They will bring to bear
their knowledge of distributed systems, networking, and
security to deploy a cloud-based solution. Focus will be on ease
of deployment and competitive advantages gained through
cloud deployment.
Project 3
IoT
In the IoT Capstone Project, students will work on building a
particular IoT enabled product as part of a company’s product
or digital experience strategy for its customers. They will use
their interdisciplinary and fundamental programming skills in
building IoT enabled products. Focus will be on usability and
real-world applicability within business contexts.
Project 4
AI
In the Artificial Intelligence Capstone Project, students will
work on specific aspects of a company’s digital transformation
efforts which may be amenable to AI treatment. Students will
weave their disparate learning together to build applications
which can most effectively take advantage of Artificial
Intelligence technologies. Focus will be on improving customer
experience and creating value.

Interaction Design
In the Interaction Design Capstone Project, students will work
on a detailed digital transformation of an existing offline
interaction. They will bring together the different elements and
principles of effective user interaction and experience into a
clear user interface plan. The focus of the project will be on the
ease and effectiveness of the user interface and its
incorporation of different digital technologies
Project 2
Workplace Design
In the Workplace Design Capstone Project, students will build a
new office space design proposal for existing real-world office
setups. They will create a holistic proposal based on detailed
understanding of not just the future of work principles but also
systems and business process design. The focus of the project
will be on improving workplace efficiency and productivity and
use of digital technologies to do so.
Project 3
Product Design
In the Product Design Capstone Project, students will work on a
detailed product proposal within a digital transformation
strategy for a specific business case from possible real-world
needs. They will create a comprehensive product experience
flow as well as roadmap for product development and
management. The focus of the project will be on prototyping
and iteration aspects of product development efforts.
Project 4
Creative/Graphic
Design
In the Creative/Graphic Design Capstone Project, students will
design an end-to-end graphic and creative accompaniment to
a company’s digital transformation strategy. They will work on
all different aspects of marketing, communication, and public
relational material a particular strategy may require. Focus of
the project will be on communication effectiveness and
consistency with brand identity and values.
