Digital Marketing Lead

We are scouting for a curious and creative solution-driver who has experience in leading digital campaigns and can spearhead the digital strategy for Atria University.

 

Responsibilities

Campaign Strategy and Conversion Management

  • Develop, implement, and manage digital marketing campaigns that promote the university among relevant stakeholders ( Including content generation, budget planning, ad strategy, spend optimization and scheduling)
  • Drive traffic and own end-to-end lead engagement (acquisition, nurturing, and conversion) through all digital channels including Website, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Google Ads, and any third party partners
  • Manage and optimize CTAs, landing pages, the lead generation forms and increase the outreach funnel efficiencies
  • Measure and improve site traffic, lead generation effectiveness across campaigns, identify and evaluate new digital technologies.
  • Optimize outreach campaigns, email outreach, social media, and display & search advertising using web analytics tools

Communication Ownership and Optimisation

  • Optimize content for the website and own engagement on social networking channels such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Blog, etc
  • Collaborate with each team responsible for social media posts, email, and blogs to optimize each conversion path for leads.
  • Coordinate with the communications team to schedule, write, edit and post content, videos, podcasts, and audio content on relevant public social media channels of the University

Market Creation and Brand Management

  • Educate the stakeholders about the vision, purpose, and value of the University and help expand the traditional market available for the University
  • Own, manage and enhance the University, and its programs’ brand image, usage, and perception across all digital channels
  • SEO for Website and Landing Pages
  • Generate and analyze performance reports using Google Analytics
  • Identify new digital marketing trends and ensure that the brand is in front of the global education industry developments, setting new benchmarks in the space

Cross-team Leadership

  • Work closely with the Director of Outreach to understand campaign goals, brand positioning, and guidelines, and evaluate the effectiveness of digital campaigns
  • Coordinate with offline outreach teams in effective digital support for outreach events, PR, institutional outreach, etc
  • Listen closely to the feedback from the stakeholders of the University (parents, students, staff, faculty, advisors, founders, and the public) and act swiftly with the relevant team members to course-correct as required
GRAPHIC DESIGNER

We are looking for a graphic designer to join the Atria University team. Someone who is creative, innovative, curious, and loves creative challenges.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Research, ideate, and design creatives for all digital channels including the website, social media platforms, online advertising platforms, and third-party partners
  • Work closely with the Creative Lead to understand the brand and the guidelines, campaign goals, brand positioning, regularly reviewing to ensure design outputs reflect the University’s brand image
  • Identify new design trends and ensure that the brand is in front of the global education industry developments, setting new benchmarks in the space
  • Coordinate with external vendors for content, design or produced/printed communication and brand material like brochures, standees, banners, etc.
  • Support outreach efforts with timely design deliverables for various events (online and offline), general communication, announcements, school presentations, among others
  • Extend design support to internal teams (PR, Academics, Admissions) for various initiatives
  • Listen closely to the feedback from the stakeholders of the University (parents, students, staff, faculty, advisors, founders, and the public), to inform and inspire the design process, as required

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign), Figma/Adobe XD. Premiere Pro or basic audio/video/motion graphics editing software is a plus.

Program Director, Atria University Major: Digital Transformation

About the University: 

Atria University is innovating an education framework focused on empowering students to “Learn how to Learn”, combining interdisciplinarity, project based learning and innovative pedagogies towards making the problem solvers of tomorrow. We are accepting our first class of students in August, 2021 at the heart of Bengaluru, India – a vibrant metropolis and hub of research, technology, art and enterprise in India. Courses will be 1-3 week full-time immersive modules, with students working on fundamentals in the context of real-world problems. Students take courses sequentially, completing an entire course before moving on to the next one. First year courses will be common to all incoming students and will emphasize foundational skills in ethics, inquiry, mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology and computation, to prepare the students to choose and specialize in the majors of their choice after the first year.

While pursuing a major in Digital Transformation, students will learn the fundamentals of digital technologies that are transforming our world today, the implications of the technologies and the end user

outcomes of putting them in action. They will take ideas all the way through implementation to impact the local and global ecosystems. They will do all this in the context of the history and social forces that shape our society today, to enable transformation towards a better tomorrow for everyone.

Responsibilities:

  • Curriculum:
    • Design the curricular structure and specialization paths for the major.
    • Bring up the Atria Digital Transformation curriculum and its interfaces with the other majors to a high standard
    • Evolve processes for designing and testing future curricula well ahead of time. Design and implement a pipeline of testing and feedback so that future courses get time to evolve before kicking into full gear
    • Continuous involvement with the implementation of the project on ground
    • Involvement with design of review and feedback mechanisms: performance, degree of engagement etc using multiple metrics
    • Developing and teaching 1 course or more in the second year curriculum for the major..
    • Build industry surveys and connections. What are the skillsets required by the relevant industries? How much of the techniques can we teach in house and what fraction should be onsite experience as interns etc? These are areas where a broad agreement should be possible if we listen to what industry tells us and adapt to their unmet requirements
  • Personnel:
    • Identify and invite relevant faculty from one’s network or otherwise who may consider teaching as a guest or permanent faculty at the University for select courses.

A vision of the Mobility Major: 

The aim of the mobility major study is to develop the viable alternatives for a greener, smarter future. As a country, we need to move away from internal combustion engines to ensure that the people of our country are not doomed to a smoky and polluted future.

The internal combustion engine has reached the end of its utility in both intra- and inter-city mobility. Electric vehicle technology is now mature. It has equalled or surpassed fossil-fuelled mobility in terms of performance, range, and operating cost. New infrastructure systems in energy distribution, innovative automotive design, and manufacturing will be necessary to realize the benefits of these technologies.

While pursuing a major in Mobility, students will learn about electric propulsion, hybrid electric vehicles, and autonomous vehicles. They will also understand the societal and environmental impact of technological developments. And, the economic and financial implications of electric mobility. Students will be exposed to courses from across disciplines – engineering, energy policy, environmental science, and business.

More so, every individual, especially future leaders like our students called upon to exercise independent thought.

Manager, Communications

Atria University is a soon-to-be-launched institution that aims to revolutionize higher  education in this country. Yes, we know you’re already rolling your eyes and we know  you’ve probably heard and read it a thousand times before. RESPONSIBILITIES 

Communications 

  • To execute the process of content creation, design, and production of all collaterals,  both online and offline (brochures, flyers, emailers, advertisements, and others), and  help to produce content for internal or, external communication
  • Monitor and ensure the consistency and quality of communication and content that  appears in any media, collateral or channel of external or, internal communication • Work with professional bloggers and writers to create good quality content in the  form of blogs, articles, and other such media
  • Help implement the digital communications strategy for the school utilizing new  media and digital platforms for effective communications, and outreach
  • Set up and manage internal communication platforms/channels/collateral that will  ensure that all internal stakeholders (faculty, students, alumni, donors, founders,  partner institutions) are aware of the latest developments in the school planning and  operations

 

Public Relations 

Engage with the partner PR Management firm to:

  • Drive and ensure that strategic objectives and plans pertaining to PR are executed  and achieved in a timely and effective manner
  • Track the performance of the PR firm by leading review meetings, as needed
  • Provide the required support in the form of drafting press releases, coordinating  meetings between the School representatives and those from the media
  • Lead the planning and execution of media/press events across different cities  involving founders, faculty, and representatives from the partner institutions
  • Build institutional level relationships with journalists, influencers, and opinion makers by facilitating regular meetings between them and the key stakeholders of  the School

 

Others 

  • Work with external vendors and partners for development and production of  marketing collaterals like brochures, ads, prospectus, presentations, website, online  ads, and so on, as required
  • Stay abreast of the new developments and techniques to enhance the effectiveness  of communication and content produced for and by the University

 

Specific technical skills preferred: 

  • Familiarity with Organizing and executing projects efficiently, archiving, record  keeping
  • Awareness and understanding of the type of content required for high-quality  academic institutions and their internal and external stakeholders – students,  recruiters, partners, internal team members, faculty and so on
  • Knowledge of reading and mapping insights from social media channels and google  analytics
  • Proficiency in using new media platforms for effective communication

 

Prior Experience and Credentials 

  • 3-5 years of experience in communications/PR/brand building
  • A degree in allied disciplines like Writing, Mass-communications, English, and Journalism from a leading academic institution in India or abroad
